A&R to Join the 4th SuReFood Alliance Annual Conference in Wageningen
Agricultural & Rural Studies (A&R) is pleased to announce that its Founder and Associate Editor, Prof. Dr. Yanxiong Wu, has been officially invited to visit the Social Science Group (SSG) at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), the Netherlands, from July 13 to 21, 2026.
His visit will coincide with the 4th Annual International Conference of the SuReFood Alliance, themed “From Chopsticks to Crops — Healthy Diets from Sustainable Food Systems,” which will be held in Wageningen on July 16–17, 2026.
A&R warmly invites scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to join this important international gathering. The conference provides a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on agricultural sustainability, rural revitalization, and the transformation of global food systems.
During the conference and his stay at WUR, Prof. Dr. Wu looks forward to meeting colleagues who are interested in submitting their work to A&R, exploring interdisciplinary collaboration, or engaging in discussions on sustainable agriculture and rural development.
This engagement further strengthens the partnership between A&R and the SuReFood Alliance, following the Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2025. Together with key academic partners, A&R remains committed to advancing rigorous, impact-driven, and globally relevant scholarship for sustainable food systems and rural communities.
