Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF document file format.
  • References should include DOIs where available; if no DOI is assigned, a stable URL may be provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • A well-written cover letter.

Privacy Statement

The SCC PRESS manages personal information for academic purposes, i.e., to complete and distribute research material. Management of personal information includes all transactions related to the data. This includes all management, whether or not it is automatic. Common types of management of personal data are collection, registration, organization, structuring, storing, processing, transferring and deleting.

The A&R is therefore responsible for handling personal information. The purpose of managing personal information in A&R is to complete and distribute academic content, including preparing manuscripts before publication carried out by authors, editors and reviewers, and editing and publishing articles and supplemental material online.

The personal information including names and email addresses entered in A&R site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of A&R and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Mandatory fields: username, given name, email, affiliation, country.

Encrypted field: password.

Optional field: family name.
